Starting with Japanese fingerspelling and a growing set of signs.

PocoFre currently recognizes Japanese fingerspelling and a limited but growing set of signs. It does not yet fully support regional, generational, or individual variations in signing.

We plan to gradually expand recognition by learning from sign-language data that users choose to contribute through Sign Tools.

Your sign-language data isn’t collected during normal use.

Simply using PocoFre’s regular sign recognition does not contribute your sign-language data. Data is collected only when you intentionally choose to contribute it through Sign Tools.

For sign recognition on Home, camera footage is processed entirely on your device and is never sent to an external server.

A future where digital experiences can start with sign language.

Voice and text shouldn’t be the only ways into the digital world.
Sign language should be a natural starting point, too.

Communicate. Type. Control. Play.

PocoFre will keep expanding
what’s possible with sign language.
